Minutes of June Meeting
The June meeting of the Cedar Valley Woodcarvers
consisted of a chuck wagon cookout held at the
Wickiup Center at 6:00 pm on June, 2010. Great food
and good times were enjoyed by members, family and
friends.

Spraying tips-
Larry Lebeda
Before using my
air brush I often use paint retarder to coat the inside
of my brush. This helps to prevent paint build-up on the
needle while spraying. Thus it will help prevent the
spattering of paint caused by a dirty needle.
Quick Wood or
other two part epoxy- Don Lund
After mixing
quick wood or any two part epoxy that needs time to set
up, I take the remaining quick wood and form a small
pyramid or ball shaped form and sent it aside. When the
left over quick wood becomes hard I know I will be able
to start working on my project again without chance of
gumming up my tools.
